The Job Fair & Skilled Trades Career Expo connects local employers with job seekers, students, and future workforce talent. Businesses from a variety of industries showcase career opportunities while attendees explore local employment options, internships, apprenticeships, and skilled trades careers.

Art Walk
First Saturday in May
Kohlmann Park
Art Walk transforms scenic Kohlmann Park into an open-air gallery featuring juried artists and makers from across the region. Visitors can browse original artwork, meet the artists, enjoy live music, local food vendors, and free family-friendly activities.
Set along the Cedar River and just steps from historic downtown Waverly, Art Walk is an opportunity to experience creativity, support talented artists, and enjoy one of the community's favorite spring traditions.

Kohlmann Park
For generations, Concerts in Kohlmann has been a cherished summer tradition in Waverly. Each Thursday evening, friends, families, and neighbors gather along the Cedar River to enjoy live music performed by the Greater Waverly Municipal Band in the beautiful setting of Kohlmann Park.
Bring a lawn chair or blanket, visit with friends and neighbors, and enjoy an evening along the Cedar River as music fills the park. Concerts in Kohlmann is more than a concert series — it's a summer tradition that brings generations of the Waverly community together.

Get ready for a spook-tacular evening in downtown Waverly! The Waverly Chamber of Commerce and Main Street invite families to our annual Jack-O-Lantern Night, where little ghosts, goblins, and superheroes can trick-or-treat in a safe, festive setting.
Local businesses will be handing out candy and goodies along Bremer Avenue, so don your favorite costume and bring a bag for treats!
This community event is a fun and safe way to celebrate Halloween with your family. The whole downtown comes alive with decorations, costumes, and community spirit.

The evening begins with Santa's arrival aboard a Waverly fire truck, kicking off one of the community's most beloved holiday traditions. Golf Outing Fundraiser
The Waverly Chamber & Main Street Golf Outing brings together local businesses and community leaders for a day on the course focused on connection, visibility, and community impact.
As an annual fundraiser, the event supports the programs, events, and initiatives that strengthen Waverly’s business community. It also offers a fun and engaging way for sponsors, teams, and participants to build relationships while supporting the Chamber’s mission.

Learn Over Lunch
Learn Over Lunch brings Chamber members and community guests together for timely topics, practical information, and meaningful conversation during the noon hour.
These programs are designed to inform, connect, and engage attendees through relevant speakers and discussions that support business growth, community awareness, and professional development.
Chamber members attend free. Non-members are welcome for $10, which includes lunch.

Project LEAD
Project LEAD is a selective leadership program that equips participants with a deeper understanding of the community, stronger leadership skills, and meaningful connections with other local leaders.
Meeting monthly from September through May, the program offers a structured cohort experience focused on leadership growth, civic awareness, and relationship-building across the community.

Vines & Steins
Vines & Steins is an annual social and networking fundraiser hosted by the Waverly Chamber of Commerce & Main Street.
Designed to bring the community together in a relaxed, festive setting, the event features local wines and craft beers, light hors d’oeuvres, and a silent auction filled with items donated by area businesses and supporters. Whether guests come to mingle, sip, or support the Chamber’s mission, Vines & Steins offers a fun night out for a great cause.

Waverly Connected
Waverly Connected is the Waverly Chamber of Commerce & Main Street’s morning networking event, created to help Chamber member employees build relationships, share ideas, and stay connected to the local business community.
Hosted at rotating member locations, each gathering includes coffee, breakfast, networking, a host business spotlight, and brief updates from Chamber staff and city staff. It is a welcoming way to stay informed, build connections, and start the day engaged in the Waverly community.
