Through monthly sessions and hands-on experiences, you'll develop new perspectives, expand your network, and discover ways to make a meaningful impact both professionally and personally.

  • Expectations & Commitment

Project LEAD participants commit to attending monthly sessions from September through May. Sessions are held from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at various locations throughout Waverly, with optional networking opportunities from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.

The program is designed to provide meaningful leadership development through active participation, discussion, and relationship-building. To gain the full value of the experience, regular attendance is expected.

    Participants will:

    • Engage with local business, nonprofit, education, and government leaders
    • Explore community opportunities and challenges through presentations, discussions, and hands-on activities
    • Tour local facilities and organizations
    • Build relationships with fellow cohort members and community leaders
    • Develop a broader understanding of civic leadership and community engagement

Because each session builds upon the previous one, participants are expected to attend all sessions whenever possible. A maximum of two absences is permitted during the program. Arriving late or leaving early may be counted as a partial absence.
